Cantina CormonsCantina Produttori Cormòns was founded in the late 1960s by Ezio Dalla Pozza, Aldo Moretti, Drius Adriano, and Stefano Gregoratto who wanted to safeguard the future of the grapes indigenous to the growing area. Today, the cooperative numbers more than 150 like-minded vintners of Friuli-Venezia Giulia who farm approximately 400ha in Isonzo, Colli Orientali, and Collio. Growers follow strict sustainable practices and take exceptional care of the vineyards, as it is in all of their interests to grow the best quality grapes amid this time of a rapidly changing climate. The cantina has built eight meteorological stations which record the slightest indications of regional climate change so as to be out in front of any possible adverse effects upon the grapes and soil.
