Summary

The Cincinnato winery is a cooperative wine company based in the historical village of Cori, in the Lazio wine region. Cori is an ancient village, immersed in the olive groves and vineyards of the Lepine hills. The ancient city wall dates back to the 6th century B.C. with polygonal walls to create the large terraces on the steep sides that supported the Acropolis, the Forum, the market area and the residential districts of the city. Each era has left important evidence, now immersed in the alleys of the medieval quarters.

Cincinnato was founded in 1947, and its history to date has involved - and still involves - 130 members (and their families) who farm 550 hectares of vineyards that make up a majority of Cori’s agricultural community.
