Cantina LaSelva is situated in southern Tuscany’s Maremma region and covers an agricultural area of around 743 hectares- with 35 hectares planted to native grape varieties such as Vermentino, Ciliegiolo, Sangiovese, Malvasia Nero, and Pugnitello. Their agricultural rotation system combines alternating crops of cereals, vegetables, forage, and pasture. LaSelva has been proof that an environmentally sound management may be combined with a successful production process that pays utmost respect to nature and use its resources respectfully, so the company has been farming organically since its inception in 1980.

The winery- Cantina LaSelva was built in 2002 and is located in the Morellino di Scansano DOCG region, which they also have a small parcel and make small quantities of Morellino di Scansano. A good part of the wine cellar is underground, providing the ideal conditions for the production of exceptional certified organic wines. Only indigenous yeasts are used in the cellar and minimal to no SO2 is added to the wines.
