Summary

Le Cinciole is a small estate located in the Panzano region of Chianti Classico.  Initially the estate only grew grapes which were sold to the local wineries. In 1991 Le Cinciole was purchased by husband and wife Valeria Vigan and Luca Orsini.

Le Cinciole has a total of 30 hectares at an altitude of 400-450 meters above sea level. The vineyard is presently thirteen hectares with only eleven in production. The principal aim of Valeria and Luca has always been the search for quality which respects traditions and territory. What characterizes their philosophy is the choice of using only Sangiovese to make their Chianti Classico, with a moderate use of neutral and older barrique in order to respect the nature of the grape. The estate started the conversion phase to organic viticulture in 2002 and official certification was obtained in 2005.
