VARIETAL
Nebbiolo (2006 is the last vintage where the Michet clone was used. From 2007 forward, this wine is made with the Rosé clone)

NOTES
VINEYARD: Sourced from two parcels: Roncaglie in Barbaresco and Casasse in Neive. Casasse was originally planted - .4ha - in 1913. In addition, .2ha were replanted in 2008, and .8ha were replanted in 2009. Vines are planted on a mix of clay with some limestone, chalk, and sand.

VINIFICATION: Fermentation in stainless steel with a maceration of about 15 days with remontage. In July following harvest, the wine goes into 500 and 800 liter casks for five years. After that the wine spends ten years in the bottle in the cellar before its release.
