Bourdeaux Cuvée Traditionnelle Blanc
Varietal
40% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Sémillon, and 20% Muscadelle
Notes
VINEYARD: 80 hectares of vineyards are located in the commune of Haux, Bordeaux.
SOIL: Clay-limestone
VINIFICATION: Traditional: skin contact (50%) and cold fermentation (16/18°C). The wine is aged on the lees for about 3 weeks, which accounts for its round, smooth, and remarkably fruity flavor.
TASTING NOTES: An explosive bouquet of ripe peach, citrus and flowers with a touch of minerality and herbal, lemongrass notes. The charming palate is round and fresh, with balanced fruit flavors and a burst of acidity and more herbal character on the finish. Excellent as a aperitif or paired with fatty fish dishes, shellfish or a goat cheese salad. Ready to drink now - with the potential to age for 2 to 3 years.
