SOIL: Schist and granite
VINEYARD: Estate. Sourced from a north-facing parcel in Meda with an altitude of 600 (2000 feet asl) meters.
VINIFICATION: Wine is fermented in granite lagares using 50% whole bunch. Winemaking is simple and very hands off except for some foot treading. To age, it goes into French oak barrels for 14 months. There is a very small amount of sulphur added into the wine just before bottling to preserve freshness.
