SOILS: Calcareous limestone with sandy veins, and is rich in minerals
VINEYARD: Godenza. Located on the best 9 hectares of the estate, creating a vineyard inside of a vineyard, with a southwest exposure. Godenza Noelia sits at around 300 – 340 meters in elevation, (1100 feet), a bit higher than the rest of the estate, which lies near Predappio in the eastern part of Romagna.
VINIFICATION: The grapes were fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, temperature-controlled tanks. The maceration (with the skins) lasted 28 days, followed by malolactic fermentation. Aged for 8 months in the stainless steel tanks and a minimum of 12 months in bottle before release.
