Pinot Noir Terroir Único Tupungato

Varietal
Pinot Noir

Notes
VINEYARD: The 50 acre Tupungato Winelands, planted in 2007 at an altitude of 4,264 feet a.s.l., on a soil type mixture of sand, chalk, and stones

VINIFICATION: Sustainable practices. Native yeast ferment. Vinified (1/3 whole cluster) and aged in concrete.

TASTING NOTES: This hand-harvested, single vineyard from Gualtallary is 100% Pinot Noir and is completely unoaked to let the fruit driven quality of the wine shine. Bright red fruits, predominantly raspberry, jump out of the glass. The mouthfeel is rich, soft, and supple with light tannin and medium acidity. The chalky soil comes through in the long finish, great with or without food.
