Bunches of pennyroyal are found scattered among the 20+ year-old vines. One of the most unique vineyards in California today, the 60-acre vineyard is home to 25 Italian grape varieties. Fox Hill is owned and farmed by Broc Cellars.

VINIFICATION: As a field blend, all of the grapes were picked on the same day. The Barbera and Dolcetto grapes were co-fermented in stainless open top fermenters and then pressed into a mix of concrete tanks and neutral French barrique to age. The Negroamaro was made as a rosé, foot-stomped and left on the skins for 24 hours, then pressed and fermented in stainless steel. 9 months then blended before bottling
