FARMING: Certified Organic
SOIL: Blue Marl at a depth from 1 to 3 meters
VINEYARD: Rio Sordo in Barbaresco. The vineyard is located on the border between Rio Sordo and Tre Stelle.
VINIFICATION: The skins remain in contact with the must during the first fermentation that lasts for 7-10 days, followed by a submerged cap maceration. After the alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation is completed in the cellar at temperature of 20°. Aging is in traditional Slavonian oak cask of 10 - 20 hl for 15 months and matured in the bottle for at least 6 months. No filtration.
