Pinot Noir “Un” (2022)

VARIETAL
Pinot Noir

NOTES
VINEYARD: Various sites throughout Oregon - Cassin (60%), Jubilee (15%), Armstrong (10%), Johan (6%), Eola Springs (5%), Temperance Hill (4%)

VINIFICATION: Separate lots were fermented either spontaneously or via pied de cuve buildup. Various fermentation techniques were used: Cassin (a portion), Eola Springs, and Armstrong ferments were primarily whole cluster carbonic, while Johan was an all whole cluster carbonic ferment. 8 months French oak barrels and puncheons, and two months in concrete before bottling.

PRESS & RATINGS: The 2022 Pinot Noir Un is remarkably pretty, with a lifted blend of dusty rose and violet pastille accentuating dried strawberries. This model of purity is lifted and refined with crisp red and blue fruits swirling across a stream of brisk acidity. The 2022 leaves a coating of fine-grained tannins and a tart wild berry concentration, tapering off structured and remarkably fresh - 92 Points, Vinous, Eric Guido
