Savannieres Grand Beaupreau

Varietal
Chenin Blanc

Notes
VINEYARD: Close to "La Coulée de Serrant" and "La Roche aux Moines", the 1.6 hectare vineyard "Clos le Grand Beaupréau" sits at high altitude, with a south-southeast exposure.

SOIL: Sandy schist/sand and schist/ volcanic rocks

TASTING NOTES: A golden clear yellow color, with a thick and brilliant disk. The nose opens to huge aromatic complexity. Big fruit flavors of apricot and quince mix together remarkably to form a subtly fresh almond and beeswax note. Mouthfeel has a rich and smooth attack; with beautiful maturity of fruit, and a distinguished mineral freshness which come directly from the Savennières' soil.
