Gamaret is a hybrid red wine grape variety from the artificial crossing of Gamay and Reichensteiner. Grown almost exclusively within Switzerland, it has also been authorized in the Beaujolais region since 2008.

VINEYARD: Les Blanchets, a 1ha plot of 45-year old vines planted at over 350 meters on sandy and granitic soil.

VINIFICATION: Hand-harvested, direct pressing after 6 hours of skin contact. Fermentation with native yeasts, and no addition of sulfites, in concrete vats. Aged 5 months in concrete.
