NOTES
VINEYARD: The majority of the blend hails from a vineyard in Yountville, and the balance from a vineyard in Calistoga.
VINIFICATION: Grapes were harvested between October 19 and 24th, and after being de-stemmed and crushed, were transferred by gravity to stainless steel fermentation tanks. After a cold soak, the must was allowed to ferment with indigenous yeast. Post fermentation, the new wine stayed on the grape skins for an extended maceration to develop mouthfeel and structure. The wine was pressed off 31 days after going into tank. MLF was left to complete indigenously. Sixty-six percent new oak from central France comprised of a combination medium and medium-plus toasted oak from Saury and Taransaud.
