Summary
Flores is a cooperative of like minded and responsible growers based in the Picpoul de Pinet AOC in southern Languedoc. The terroir is one of the oldest planted vineyards near the Mediterranean. The vineyards grow on higher ground in clay and limestone soils, with sustainable agricultural practices rather than chemical intervention is at the heart of everything Flores does.
They are eco-friendly producer, employing green techniques to control pests in the vineyard, and reduce carbon emissions by drawing energy from their vast bank of solar panels. These are used to power the their stainless steel tanks for maceration and fermentation.
