FARMING: Non-certified organic

SOIL: Clay and chalk soils in varying compositions throughout.

VINEYARD: The 3 hectares of vines are spread throughout three communes; Barolo (Sarmassa and Vignane vineyards), La Morra (Rocche dell'Annuziata, Boiolo vineyards) and Falletto (Codana vineyard). Vineyards face south/southeast.

VINIFICATION: Prolonged fermentation of about 20 days in stainless steel tanks. Wine is pumped over the cap until fermentation is complete, and then it is decanted in large capacity Slovenian oak casks. Aged in large casks for 3 years before bottling.
