VARIETAL
Dolcetto d’Alba

NOTES
VINEYARD: The single vineyard of Roussot, near Cannubbio. Approximately 1 hectare and a mostly clay soil type. Vines were planted between 1975-77 and have a southwestern exposure.

VINIFICATION: The hand-picked grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks with the skins for 15 days, with racking and malolactic afterwards. Aged an additional six months in stainless, with another 6 months spent in bottle before release.

TASTING NOTES: Fragrant, dry, delicate. A smattering of earthy flavors round out the well-balanced palate. Classic.
