NOTES
VINEYARD: Ash Creek Vineyard. Owned by neighbors to Illahe in the Mt Pisgah AVA, there are approximately 13 planted acres of vineyard: eight acres of vines approaching 20 years old, and five acres of more recent plantings. Grapes grown are pinot noir, chardonnay, gamay noir, and dolcetto. The soils are shallow sedimentary clay. Live-certified. Illahe manages the entire vineyard for the owners who in return sell Illahe all of their fruit.

VINIFICATION: Harvested on September 14th. Native yeast fermentation, partial MLF - all in barrel (25% new) with weekly barrel-stirring for 3 months, followed by a bi-weekly regimen. Barrel aged for 9 months in 25% new French oak, 50% neutral French oak, 25% neutral acacia.
