VINEYARD: 60 years old
VINIFICATION: Gentle pressing of the grapes, then a lengthy, submerged-cap maceration and cool-temperature fermentation. The wine matured 6-8 months in 40hl oak botti, then a further period in the bottle. The wine is release three years after harvest.
TASTING NOTES: The wine appears a garnet-rimmed ruby red, with pleasant dried floral and fruit notes that are complemented by soft leather and earthy aromas.
