Notes
VINEYARD: Belen - 66 acres planted on a hillside vineyard in clay and granitic soil in 2004. The vineyard lies at 1,000 feet asl. The Prisma wines are made from estate fruit from the Lo Ovalle subregion of the Casablanca Valley by Ricardo Baettig. This coastal microclimate benefits from fog, diurnal shifts in temperature, and the clay on granite soil. Both the vineyard and the winery are certified sustainable.

VINIFICATION: Grape bunches were de-stemmed before a 2 hour maceration period, followed by a 20 day ferment. The wine then spent three months in stainless steel tank - with two of those months being in contact with the lees - before being bottled. The wine was lightly filtered before being bottled.

PRESS/REVIEWS: Pink-tinged copper. Fresh red fruits, orange zest and a hint of pungent flowers on the nose. Juicy and seamless in texture, offering juicy strawberry and tangerine flavors that firm up on the back half. Finishes smooth and gently spicy, with repeating red fruit character and good length.
