SOILS: Eocene marl soil

VINEYARD: Grapes are sourced from two vineyards: Cjastenet, a 3ha plot facing S/SW at an altitude of 150-200m; and Roncjs, a family-owned vineyard of 0.56 ha, terraced hills, and S/SE exposure, at an altitude of 165-180m. The average age of the vines is 50 years.

VINIFICATION: The wine matured in barrels for 14-18 months with an additional 30-36 months in bottle before release.
