Libero Vino Frizzante
VARIETALS
80% Sangiovese, 20% Albanella
NOTES
VINEYARD: The Sangiovese is from Alberto's estate and is planted in limestone and sandy calcareous soils. The Albanella, a local and rare grape grown in the hills surrounding Pesaro, is from a small grower in Roncaglia. Roncaglia has very few vineyards, all of which are highly prized because of their proximity to the Adriatic sea.
VINIFICATION: The grapes are co-fermented in tank with indigenous yeast. The wine is then put in bottle, along with the frozen must and it re-ferments in bottle under a crown cap. No disgorgement.
“Libero” is the name of Alberto and Alessandro’s grandfather, the founder of the estate
