Summary
The Covinca winery began in 1942 and is located in the center of the Aragon region, on the Campo de Cariñena plain, where over 150 growers cultivate almost 1500 hectares of vineyards. Ana Becoechea is a young, dynamic and award-winning winemaker. Having worked in the Duero area, she is particularly interested in fruit-driven styles. The Cariñena D.O. is the oldest of Aragon and the second oldest in Spain, and this countryside consists of a plain that borders the Sierra Iberica Hills which has created a microclimate, and the extreme continental climate in this area gives the grapes their intense flavor.
