VINEYARD: Hawkeye Ranch. Hawkeye Ranch sits at 722 feet elevation and is located in the upper reaches of the Russian River drainage in Mendocino County. The soil type is Pinole Gravelly Loam, which provides excellent drainage and promotes low vigor.

FARMING: Hawkeye Ranch is farmed organically and Fish Friendly Farming Certified.

VINIFICATION: Native yeast fermentation and 100% de-stemmed. Pressed dry into neutral french oak for 16 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
