VINEYARD: Hawkeye Ranch. Hawkeye Ranch sits at 722 feet elevation and is located in the upper reaches of the Russian River drainage in Mendocino County. The soil type is Pinole Gravelly Loam, which provides excellent drainage and promotes low vigor.

FARMING: Hawkeye Ranch is farmed organically and Fish Friendly Farming Certified.

VINIFICATION:  Fruit was picked in early September and direct pressed into stainless steel tanks. Aged sur lee for 6 months and bottled un fined and un filtered. 10ppm of S02 was added a month prior to bottling. 575 cases produced.
