A Blend of grüner veltliner, weissburgunder (pinot blanc), welschriesling, traminer

NOTES
VINEYARD: Zillinger’s vineyards are located in the Vienna basin on sedimentary soils in southeast Weinviertal, the warmest and driest part of the Weinviertal, a cool climate region, 5km from the border with Slovakia, between Vienna and Bratislava. Gneiss and granite are the dominant natural rocks here, but lime/sandstone and slate marl clay can also be found here. The fine loess sand consists of quartz, feldspar, and mica silicates, and clay minerals.

VINIFICATION: After the manual harvest, the grapes are pressed and spontaneously fermented with wild yeasts. After aging in steel tank, it is bottled unfiltered, with a small amount of sulfur for stabilization.
