NOTES
VINEYARD: Located on the German Wine Route (a former Roman-era road which was used to get to Trifels Castle near the Kaltenbrunn pilgrimage site). A steep site with reddish soil which is a result of iron compounds (hematite) deposited in mud and sand layers from volcanic activity 280 million years ago.

VINIFICATION: After the manual harvest, the grapes are sorted again in the winery and processed very gently to obtain the best possible finesse, freshness and tension. The grapes are lightly pressed, fermentation with natural yeasts, aging in stainless steel.
