VINEYARD: Located in the Upper Rhine lowlands, protected by the Palatinate Forest to the west and with the influence of the Rhine to the north and east this is one of the most climatically favored areas of Central Europe.The soil conditions in Ilbesheim are very diverse, ranging from light sandy soil to water-storing clay to heavy calcareous marl. The south/southeastern exposures of the vineyards gives the vines the opportunity to soak up a lot of sun and achieve higher ripening levels.
The liter bottling is produced from the youngest vines on the estate.

VINIFICATION: After harvest, the grapes are lightly pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel.
