Summary
Valdibella is a small cooperative which dedicates itself to the growing of 3 organic products: vine, almonds and olives. It only has six members who between them own 38 ha (95 acres) of undulating vineyards around Camporeale and Monreale, on the western side of Sicily inland from Palermo. The vineyards are planted on slopes up to 500 metres on primarily clay soils.
The company adheres to strict organic farming practices on all their lands, and there are no manipulations in the winery. The wines are fermented in concrete or stainless steel, using only indigenous yeasts, and no added SO2.
